Mi Madre es de Donosti, Pais Vasco/ Euskadi (San Sebastian, Spain)… mis Abuelos migrated there; My mother’s father being from a small farming town in Catalonha (Cataluña), and her mother from a small farm in Castilla y León… somehow my mother met a traveling Chicano in Southern Spain, got married, and moved to the hood of East Oakland, CA where the 5 of us were born… and we all lived happily ever after…
